Touch the Tower, Music on McKinley & Fireworks

The evening began at 5 p.m. with a new event, Touch the Tower. Twenty-five teams took part in physical challenges and trivia while linking arms with their partner - while the other participant kept in constant contact with the Shafer Bell Tower.

Student musical acts displayed their talents from 6-8 p.m. on University Green while student vendors sold t-shirts and snacks. SGA provided free pizza for the event. Students and community kids participated in a coloring contest.

The 3rd annual fireworks display, sponsored by SGA, concluded the night at 8:30 p.m. on LaFollette Field.
