Opening Day Kick-Off & Bonfire

Irving Gym & Lafollette Field
Homecoming week began with a bang! Organizations competed in the inflatable obstacle course, tug-of-war, and a heated battle of Dodgeball at 7:00 p.m. in Irving Gym.
The 2nd annual bonfire followed at 9:00 p.m. on LaFollette Field. Athletics Director Tom Collins and football players Brandon Crawford, #90 & Bryant Haines, #49, gave a pep-talk, followed by performances by the Cheerleaders, BSU Drumline and Code Red Dancers!
The faculty/staff royalty were also crowned. Congratulations to our 2008 Faculty/Staff Homecoming Queen and King - Kelly Stanley of the English Department and Richard Neel of the History Department! The evening concluded with dancing and entertainment by Event One DJ's, a dunk tank, and cornhole.
