Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) - US Department of Agriculture has information regarding career paths in the USDA, employment and internship opportunities at the national level.
Bureau of Water Quality (Muncie) has internship opportunities available with the Muncie Sanitary District.
Cardno JFNew will be on hand to discuss job opportunities and openings with this ecological consulting and restoration firm.
Delaware County GIS Department has semester-long GIS internships that include exposure to many local government agencies and projects.
Delaware County Health Department regulates onsite sewage systems, complaints, animal bite reports, communicable disease control, water quality, water wells, tattoo and piercing establishments, food safety, health education, public healthy nursing, vital records, etc.

- Indiana Department of Natural Resources has Americorps positions available at Indiana properties.
Environmental Solutions & Innovations, Inc. is a small, family-owned environmental consulting company. Seasonal employment - primarily working with endangered bats, is available. Full-time employment is occasionally available, particularly for biologists with a master's degree in biology.
Girl Scouts of Central Indiana is looking for camp counselors for the summer of 2012. The organization has five camps to staff with lifeguards, kitchen staff, nature counselors and general counselors.
Hamilton County Health Department is looking for seasonal, part-time paid positions. There are two positions in mosquito/vector control - outdoor summer work and one position open in the water quality division for a part-time public pool inspector and well water sampling program.
Hamilton County Parks and Recreation Department has internships and hourly wage positions available for part-time, front-line customer service, camp counselors, maintenance staff, ecological restoration, special event assistant and administrative resource assistant.
Indiana State Department of Health - Environmental Public Health Division has internship applications and information available for ISDH positions. Information about local health departments and careers in public health will also be available.
Indiana State Museum & Historic Sites Corporation has internship openings at the Indiana State Museum and various historic sites around the state. Internship opportunities are in the areas of historic preservation, collections, archives, facility rental, cultural research, archaeology materials, volunteer services, exhibit maintenance, new media tech, performing arts, accounting and finance, and institutional archives. Summer Camp Educator positions are available, as well.
Indianapolis Zoo has internship openings in environmental education, animal care, human resources, communications, information technology and volunteer management.
Lake Monroe - Indiana State Parks & Reservoirs has a paid seasonal interpretive naturalist position available. Unpaid summer internships are available in interpretation and resource management.
Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge has internship opportunities available in visitor services and biological science.
Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) will have career opportunities and Earth Team volunteer information available.
Stormwater Mangement Department - Muncie Sanitary District has volunteer and extended learning opportunities for students in stormwater best management practices, including rain barrels and rain gardens. The organization's representative will also have information about Muncie- Delaware Clean & Beautiful volunteer opportunities.
Town of Fishers - Parks & Recreation Department has paid summer camp counselor positions available in recreation division and environmental education and outdoor recreation divisions. There is a paid recreation internship position avialable and unpaid internship positions in environmental education and outdoor recreation.
US Army Corps of Engineers has openings for one temporary, full-time ranger and two temporary summer rangers. Rangers will conduct public outreach, boat patrols, resource management and other duties as assigned.
Wolf Park will offer two 3-month internships, as well as one-month practicums. Students will learn about the daily operations of a non-profit park. Duties include public relations, animal husbandry, maintenance and observational research.
