Homecoming Blood Drive and Bone Marrow Match Registry
Save a life on Wednesday, September 30! The Homecoming blood drive will take place from 9am-3pm at Pruis Hall. Pride Points can be earned for donating! Appointments will be taken online, and walk-ins are also welcome.
Did you know?
- Indiana Blood Center must recruit 620 donors each day to meet the patient needs at Indiana hospitals.
- Indiana Blood Center supplies over 60 Indiana hospitals, including IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.
- Each whole blood donation is separated into its components to provide three transfusion-ready units, allowing a single donor to potentially save three lives.
- More than 10,000 patients in the U.S. are diagnosed with life-threatening illnesses every year that could be treated with a bone marrow transplant.
