Food Drive
A food drive for Second Harvest Food Bank will be held from Monday, October 3, through Thursday, October 6. Donations will need to be dropped off the Alumni Association Office no later than Thursday, October 6, at 5:00 p.m. in order to receive Ashley Points for your organization. Ashley Points will be awarded to all participants, and additional Ashley Points will be given to the organization who donates the most items. Drop boxes will also be available at residence halls, however, Ashley points will not be awarded if items are dropped at those locations.
Give blood at the American Red Cross Blood Drive
Save a life on Wednesday, October 5, 2011, from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at Pruis Hall!
In a hurry? Make an appointment online! Potential donors may go to www.redcrossblood.org and enter the sponsor code: ballstate to set up an appointment. Walk-ins are also welcome.
Community Service Day
On Wednesday, October 5, students had the chance to volunteer at local Muncie nonprofit organizations. Ashley Points were awarded for each group who worked. These opportunities counted towards the Freshman Connections volunteer hour requirement! Free transportation to each location was available, provided by Freshman Connections. A big thank you to all of the volunteers!

Animal Rescue Fund (ARF) - 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Muncie Parks Department 12:00 noon - 3:00 p.m.
Cornerstone Center for the Arts 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
