This new Homecoming event provided a fun opportunity for students, faculty/staff, the Muncie community, and alumni to become involved and enjoy Ball State University’s Homecoming week. The preliminary elimination tournament was held on Sunday, September 27, at the Bethel Fields off Tillotson Avenue. Sixteen teams vied for the final two spots to compete in the championship game on Wednesday, September 30, at 7:30 p.m. in Scheumann Stadium.
Fans came out to support the teams as they competed for the first ever championship trophy.
There was no charge to attend this event, however, the Homecoming Steering Committee collected canned food items for the Harvest Food Bank - thank you to everyone who helped support this local charity!

After the game, the crowd stuck around and relaxed in the stadium for the annual fireworks show. This year, the fireworks were set to music that was reminiscent of the homecoming theme. WLBC was in attendance and broadcasting the event. A huge thank you to SGA for sponsoring the fireworks again this year!
