The kick-off events for Homecoming 2009 provided new and fun opportunities for students, faculty/staff, the Muncie community, and alumni to become involved in and to enjoy Ball State's Homecoming week. Fun and games began on LaFollette Field at 7:00 p.m. Followed by a pep-rally including performances by the Code Red Dancers and Cheerleaders! Competitive games included: tug-o-war, an inflatable obstacle course, and gladiator joust!
Although the Homecoming Bonfire was canceled due to windy conditions, the pep rally began at 9:00 p.m. Coronation of the 2009 Faculty/Staff Royalty candidates took place followed by dancing to the tunes of a DJ. Congratulations to our 2009 Faculty/Staff King and Queen: Anthony Kline (Elementary Education), and Christie Zimmerman (Theatre & Dance)!
FREE Ball State Homecoming lanyards were handed out to the first 500 attendees!
Congratulations to the Event Winners!
