Advertise in Alumnus

Since the first issue of the Ball State Alumnus hit mailboxes in 1937, the magazine has remained a major source of information about the university and its community. We encourage Ball State departments, offices, and programs to reach our dedicated and engaged readership through advertisements in the magazine.

Specifications 
  • All ads are full color 
  • Size: full or half-page
    • Horizontal half-page (7.5x4.5 inches)
    • Vertical half-page (2.375x9 inches)
    • Full page with bleeds (8.75x11.125 inches; live area 8x10 inches)
  •  The ad must align with Ball State’s Graphic Identity Standards. Clients will work with University Marketing and Communications (UMC) to produce advertisements.    
Inquiries 
Ball State departments, offices, and programs interested in advertising in Alumnus should contact Steve Fulton, director of new media for the Ball State Alumni Association, to request ad space and discuss rates and availability. The Alumnus editorial board determines availability, dictates placement, and approves advertisements for each issue.
