The new Ball State Alumni Travel Program offers many diverse tours to destinations around the world. Our trips provide a rich experience because of their educational nature, access to unique destination spots, and fellowship with other alumni. We invite our alumni and the entire Ball State family to join us as we embark on this adventure and many new adventures to come!

Cultural Cuba
November 6-14, 2016

Discover the lively city of Havana and its environs on this exciting eight-night journey.  Learn about Cuban history and culture during fascinating discussions with local experts and visits to historic buildings, museums, and more.  This people-to-people exploration is brimming with opportunities to meet everyday people, ranging from artists and musicians to religious leaders and their congregations to teachers and students.  Venture outside the city to beautiful Pinar del Río province and the Sierra del Rosario mountains to visit a model socialist community.  Discover the religions of Cuba, experience salsa dancing, dine in both noted state-run restaurants and paladars, the privately owned restaurants beget by Cuba’s economic reforms of the 1990s.
