IConnect users may be receiving e-mails (spam) with the subject line: Regarding your BSU iConnect Account. Inside the e-mail is a link that states: "Please download and read the attached file." This is a hoax and could prove harmful to your computer. The university will never ask you for your password nor will we send you a message asking you to download something randomly. To obtain your e-mail account, visit the alumni registry. This is a free e-mail service offered to Ball State alumni. Once you register for an account, you will receive an e-mail with further instructions on how to access your account, including your password.
