More about Jerry's BBC Fellows experience ...
Faculty mentors play an important role in the Building Better Communities Fellows program. You will direct a team of students as they work on a problem-based project for an Indiana company or organization.
Benefits for faculty include:
- putting research into action through immersive learning experiences
- applying knowledge and expertise in a business or community setting
- strengthening project management and leadership skills
- mentoring a group of diverse, hard-working students
- playing a role in building Indiana's economy
- shaping Indiana's future through student development
Fellows can provide support for your project with:
- Project Planning
- Professional development workshops for students
- Student recruitment/course enrollment
- Scholarship awards
- Marketing opportunities
- Technical support and equipment
Interested faculty can collaborate with a business partner to submit project proposals that meet goals of our program. Faculty mentors receive compensation for each semester of the project. If you are interested in leading a project team, contact us.
