How can your community adapt in the changing landscape of Indiana public finance? During this half-day workshop, learn how Indiana municipalities are financed, discuss recent tax structure changes, and discover alternatives to property taxes.

You will learn how:

  • Indiana communities are funded and sustained
  • Local Option Income Taxes (LOITs) work
  • to determine ways to increase revenues and/or decrease the cost of providing services
  • property tax caps affect taxpayers and local governments

                               possible
