Career goals are central to success at Ball State and life after graduation.
The Career Center’s
award winning staff offers innovative approaches to career education and access to job opportunities through interactive and face-to-face services and programs.
Students can learn about work values, interests, and abilities using
Quest, the online career exploration program specifically designed to connect to Ball State academic programs. Information from Quest makes exploring the wide variety of career fields easy.
The
Career Management Action Plan (Career MAP) leads students, step-by-step, to career success through recommended, personalized activities from freshman year to graduation.
At the Career Center in Lucina Hall, our
career advisors are available daily during drop-in hours or by appointment to talk through complex decisions about career fields for specific majors, internships, or to have a résumé critiqued. Students can also find support for exploring careers, industries, and employment sectors, and hiring organizations in the
Career and Experiential Learning Lab. Employment success and long-term career success depend on student efforts to integrate classroom education with workplace knowledge, skills, and attitudes.
Quality career education enables students to find career fields they can be enthusiastic about--passionate even! Students who participate will benefit from in-class programs, workshops, and recruitment events and services.
Students, alumni, and employers are connected for part-time employment, campus jobs, internships, and full-time professional positions through the Career Center. Join us on

Career ConneXions, part of the Ball State Digest, and learn to put your education to work.
