KEY (Knowledge+Experience+You) Careers is a program designed specifically to help Ball State freshmen find a major and choose a career. Students often list the ability to get a better job as an important reason for coming to college, and we want to help you make sure you are on the right path!
During orientation all freshmen will take an assessment called My Vocational Situation, which looks at how clear and confident you are in your major and career choice. Those who might need some more assistance in figuring out career direction will be invited to take two additional assessments over the summer:

The KEY Careers program offered during Welcome Week will help you put all of the pieces together. You will hear from career experts who will assist you in developing a plan to reach your career goal. Our hope is to help you save time, stress, and money by starting early on your career path!
