Actuarial Science

Actuaries use a well-rounded background including law, mathematics, and economics to solve emerging financial and social problems. They develop models to answer questions and indicate the consequences of various decisions. Their decisions and projections are the basis of the financial and insurance worlds. Actuaries are in high demand by insurance companies, consulting firms, financial accounting firms, labor unions, and state and federal governments.
