What Can I Do with a Major in…

Women’s and Gender Studies 

Women’s and gender studies majors examine the history, politics, economics, sociology, psychology, literature, culture, and the contributions of women to society, as well as the development of modern feminism. Graduates of this interdisciplinary major enter a wide variety of fields where understanding of women’s issues is helpful. Some of these fields include law, politics, business, advertising, public health, public policy, human resources, social work, psychology, government, communications, research, and non-profit organizations.
