Professional Career Advising

Three university offices support quality career decision making. Students can begin to establish career goals with any of these services. 

Career Center  – To schedule an appointment, please complete this form

  • Response within one business day

  • Most appointments scheduled within two to three business days of contacting us

  • Allow 45 minutes for an individual advising appointment

  • Allow 60-90 minutes for a practice interview

Drop-in advising is offered every day for those who need immediate assistance.

  • Monday-Wednesday from 1 to 3 p.m.

  • Thursday-Friday from 10 a.m. to noon

Immediate assistance with exploring majors and careers, building job-search skills, and finding jobs, internships, and graduate schools is also offered in the Career Lab in Lucina 235.

University College  – University College offers major/minor advising for academic success.  

Counseling Center  – The Counseling Center provides career counseling to the Ball State University student community. The Counseling Center offers a variety of career assessments, including SIGI3 .
