Experience can come from many places. Employers want to know what kind of skills you are bringing to your internship or job. A great way to make yourself marketable is to do things outside of class that help you stand out to employers.
Did you do community service in high school? Do you have a cause you are passionate about? Think about volunteering. It will help you contribute to the community beyond campus and it is a great résumé builder.

Part-time jobs are a great way to make money and build your skills.

If you are trying to decide if a career is right for you, consider doing a job shadow. Job shadowing offers you a chance to spend time with someone who is working in a job that sounds interesting to you and lets you actually see what it is like to work in a specific career. This is also a great networking opportunity.
