If you live in the residence halls, you will have wireless network access. However, the university also recommends that you connect to the wired network, too.
To get access, you must connect your computer to the network with an ethernet cable. If only one computer needs connected, then a single ethernet cable can be used. If more than one person in the room and each wants to use the wired network at the same time, then you will need a Residence Hall Network Pack.

The Residence Hall Network Pack is needed if more than one person in a room wants to connect to the wired network at the same time. It consists of three 25 foot ethernet cables, a Linksys 5-port network switch, and a surge protector.
