Adventure Camp

 Digital Corps Adventure 2010

The Digital Corps hosted its first annual summer camp in 2010, where Digital Corps student employees from Ball State University took a week to teach local middle schoolers how to create games for iPhones and iPods Touch. The camp covered game planning, level design, logic, and development through a series of hands-on examples that culminated with each camper creating their own game from scratch. By the end of the week, everyone in attendance had a unique game to show off to friends and families.

The Digital Corps Adventure Camp expanded in 2011 to include a development camp for high school who learned more about the java programming used in game development.

Upcoming camps are in the brainstorming stages, with topics including various types of design, development, and multimedia creation.
