Resource Room

Ball State University students can visit Room 206 in Health Education and have the opportunity to use the latest technology in computers to locate specific health information. The Resource Room is not a student computer lab; it is only to be used for accessing health information. A printer is available for student use and the copies are free (for printing health information).

We also have a large library of brochures that can be picked up for free. Brochures can be used for research for a class project and are also a useful way for Resident Advisors to share health information with their residents. Topics include skin health, heart health, nutrition, body image, sleep, drugs, alcohol, partying smart, stress, men’s and women’s health, HIV, STIs, sexual health and responsibility, and abstinence.

The Resource Room is also a Relaxation Station!  Visit the massage chair in HC 206 to recharge your battery and RELAX between classes. Appointments and walk-ins accepted based on availability. Please check in at the reception desk in HC 201. Call 765-285-3775 for an appointment or more information. Session limit is 20 minutes.

The Resource Room is available during our regular office hours of 8 a.m. to 5p.m. Monday-Friday. Closed from 12:00-1:00pm for lunch.
