Customize Blackboard

Customize Your Course List
Blackboard Learn (v9) users can determine what courses are listed under the "My Courses" section on the main Blackboard screen.

Hide or Show the Course Menu
When you access a course in Blackboard Learn (v9), the Course Menu appears down the left side of the screen. This menu provides links to the components of your course. You have the option to hide the Course Menu or to make it appear if it has been hidden. If you do not see the links that are normally part of the Course Menu, the menu is probably hidden.

Taking Tests and Quizes

Sometimes the Visual Editor Tab will cover a portion of a question in Blackboard Learn (v9). Learn how to resize the window so you can see the entire question.

View Grades

View Your Grades
If a professor records grades in Blackboard Learn (v9), students can see those grades in the "My Grades" section.

Discussion Board

The TechClips for the Discussion Board were created using Blackboard version 7, but the instructions they provide work the same in Blackboard Learn v(9).
