Faculty and Staff: Additional Services and Information

University Computing Services provides the appropriate technology, information, and support services to enhance teaching and learning at Ball State. We are pleased to offer several services that are designed specifically with the needs of faculty and staff in mind:

  • Local Service Providers: are professional staff members who are assigned to university divisions to provide computer support and consulting advice. 
  • Digital Data Services: provides faculty and staff with optical scanning and digital output of traditional media sources, such as photographs, CDs, and videotape. 
  • Hardware Repair: services Windows-based and Mac computers owned by the university and used by faculty and staff
  • Distributed Technology Support (DTS) Team:  facilitates open communication between all individuals who assist in the support of technology at Ball State
  • Form Finder: provides and organizes list of PDF forms from various campus departments
  • Computer Store: allows you to view, test, purchase, and order the latest computers, software, and accessories from companies such as Microsoft, Apple, MPC/Gateway, and HP
  • Supported Products: provides a list of software supported by UCS
  • Web Services: includes Blackboard, iLocker, iWeb, and ePrint
