Contract faculty position for fall semester with possibility of renewal available August 19, 2011. Major responsibility: teach a variable credit-hour load (3-9 hours) in the online English as a New Language License graduate program. The program is taught through BSU’s Distance and Learning Education unit with a stipend of $3,000 per class. Information on the program and the courses offered can be found at:

Minimum qualifications: Doctorate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), Second Language Acquisition (SLA), or closely related field by date of appointment; record of effective teaching of TESOL or SLA; record of publications and presentations in the fields of TESOL or SLA.
Preferred qualifications: Record of effective teaching in online format.
