Tenure-track faculty position available August 17, 2012.
Responsibilities: teaching accounting courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels (primary interest in financial accounting but other accounting areas will be considered); research; service.
Minimum qualifications: A.B.D.toward doctorate in accounting or other closely related business field with completion of degree by November 1, 2013; evidence of scholarly research; teaching experience in financial accounting or other closely business related field at the university level.
Preferred qualifications: Ph.D. or D.B.A. in accounting from an AACSB accredited school; full-time teaching experience at the university level; significant record of publications in refereed journals in the accounting area and/or evidence of other scholarly contributions; CPA or other accounting certification, e.g., CMA, CIA, ABV.
