Tenure-track faculty position available August 17, 2012.
Responsibilities: teaching accounting courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Primary interest is in non-profit and governmental accounting.
Minimum qualifications: ABD toward doctorate in accounting from an AACSB-accredited school with completion of degree by November 1, 2013; evidence of scholarly research or the potential for scholarly research in the non-profit, governmental, and/or healthcare accounting; teaching experience or evidence of potential to teach in non-profit, governmental, and/or healthcare accounting or other closely business related field at the university level. Applicants at the Associate or Full Professor level must have a Ph.D. and an excellent record of scholarly research activity and teaching consistent with a senior-level faculty appointment.
Preferred qualifications: Ph.D. or DBA in accounting from an AACSB-accredited school; full-time teaching experience at the university level with an emphasis on healthcare, non-profit, or governmental accounting; significant record of publications in refereed accounting journals focusing on government, non-profit, and/or healthcare accounting issues or related areas and/or evidence of other scholarly contributions; CPA or other accounting certification, e.g., CMA, CIA, ABV. Applicants at the Associate or Full Professor level should have an established record of research published in leading journals in the field.
