Assistant Professor/Educational Technology, Department of Educational Studies

Tenure-track faculty position available August 17, 2012. Responsibilities: teach primarily graduate courses in gaming online pedagogy, simulation, virtual environments, learning systems and assessment; research and scholarly productivity in educational technology; service involvement in and contributions to academic or professional organizations and societies that represent educational technology as well as service to the department, college and university; collaborate with existing entities on campus related to digital media and the development of alternative pedagogies.

Minimum qualifications: complete all requirements for a doctoral degree in educational technology, instructional systems, or related field by the date of appointment; demonstrate strong potential for a well-articulated research agenda; commitment to issues of diversity in educational policy and practice.

Preferred qualifications: evidence of an established record of scholarship; potential to direct research of graduate students; post-secondary teaching experience.
