Responsibilities: teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in elementary education and related areas, supervising practica, supervising and conducting research, publishing, serving as a liaison to a professional development school, advising, and engaging in professional, university, and community service.
Minimum qualifications: earned doctorate in elementary education or related area by August 1, 2012; a minimum of three years of elementary classroom teaching; a record of documented scholarly productivity and service.
Preferred qualifications: university teaching experience; experience supervising student teaching, partnering with professional development schools; other components of elementary education classes; service learning; knowledge and capability with technologies in education, including online teaching experience.
