Voicemail

By allowing you to record customized greetings voicemail informs callers that you're either away from your desk or unavailable due to meetings or vacations.  This gives them information they need to decide whether to leave you a message or press zero for help.

The system will light the message waiting indicator (MWI) on the desk phone to announce that a message has been left.  If you would like to receive on e-mail in your Ball State e-mail account letting you know that you have a voicemail message, have the e-mail notification feature turned on to your voice mailbox.

Checking messages in your voice mailbox can be accomplished through the phone, or by using the web portal.
