Nestled inside Muncie’s historic Westwood Neighborhood just a few blocks from Ball State's campus, Bracken House serves as home for our president and a location for many receptions, dinners, and other official university events.
The 1937 Georgian Revival style home was generously donated by Alexander and Rosemary Bracken. The university refurbished the home in the late 1990s with the help of its original architect, Scholer Corporation, Lafayette, Indiana. You may view a virtual tour and more history about the house via a Web site launched shortly after the renovations were completed.
