Trip to Asia

President Gora traveled to China and Korea June 6-27, meeting with nine university presidents at the invitation of those leaders. Ties between Ball State and institutions of higher education in East Asia are vital as the university's strategic plan calls for 5 percent of total enrollment to be comprised of international students by 2012 and a similar number of Ball State students to be participating in study-abroad programs.
