We may be a university on the move, focused on setting new benchmarks in higher education everyday, but we also have an appreciation for our past.
On Sept. 5, 2008, the 90th anniversary of Ball State’s founding, we kicked off a $200 million capital campaign to boldly build upon our past success in a way that the whole nation takes notice. President Gora noted to the campus community and its supporters of the historical importance of the event: “We all should take a moment or two to savor the excitement of today's events. They honor the tremendous strides Ball State has made over those nine decades and celebrate the bold steps we will take over the next decade.”
