What is National Student Clearinghouse?
The National Student Clearinghouse is an agent of Ball State for postsecondary and secondary student degree, diploma, and enrollment verification. Its services help reduce the administrative burden on Ball State by providing student educational record verification while maintaining the confidentiality and privacy of records, adhering to the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).

What is the main function for which Ball State University uses National Student Clearinghouse?
Like more than 3,000 other U.S. colleges and universities, Ball State takes advantage of the clearinghouse's main service: verifying enrollment for student loan borrowers.
