Faculty Programs
Involvement in a research or creative project requires dedication of effort, time, and resources beyond a faculty member's normal assigned responsibilities. Ball State University supports this commitment through the Aspire Program. The primary emphasis of these funding opportunities is to provide seed money for research, scholarly study, and creative endeavors to seek further support from external funding.
ASPiRE Faculty programs focus on the support of: Research and Creative Arts projects, as well as: - Additional Programs - Reprint Support; External Travel Support
- Hollis Fund - Psychology-based research (Junior Faculty only)
- International Travel - Facilitates international academic activity for tenure-track faculty
- New Faculty - Supplies, Expenses, Equipment, and Travel (SEET) funds for tenure-track faculty in their first year of employment
Please note: electronic submission of proposals is required for ASPiRE grants via IRBNet. For assistance on submitting a proposal via IRBNet, please see our IRBNet Aspire Help Page.
