RESUBMIT Program

The RESUBMIT funds up to $2,500 to support activities leading to a stronger resubmitted proposal. Those eligible for the program are faculty who have a recently been denied an external grant proposal of at least $100,000, with a strong possibility of funding if resubmitted to the same agency. Under special circumstances, the Sponsored Programs Office (SPO) will consider proposals of less than $100,000.

The funds (up to $2,500) should be combined with appropriate support from department heads and deans to create a plan for revision that meets the next reasonable deadline. Expenses that directly impact the development of an improved proposal resubmission will be considered, e.g. course buyout, summer stipend, travel, and student assistantships.
