The Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) is responsible for the review of all research involving recombinant DNA molecules or the use of infectious materials. Research projects and labs involving the use of such objects are to be submitted for review at IBC convened meetings. Research is to be conducted in accordance with Ball State University policy and with applicable provisions of federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
