The Sponsored Programs Office (SPO) at Ball State University offers three types of educational opportunities for grantsmanship education. Whether you are one of our new "alpha" faculty or seasoned professional with an interest in grantsmanship, we have a program to fit your needs. SPO collaborates with the
Office of Teaching and Learning Advancement for the
"Alpha Day" Workshop for new faculty.
University Training and Development manages the scheduling of the SPO-led, multi-session workshops in grantsmanship, called
Grants Dollars Trilogy.
In addition, information sessions periodically are presented that focus on particular grant programs, such as the
Fulbright Scholar Program or the
Indiana Campus Compact.
Finally, SPO collaborates with staff from
University Libraries and the
Office of Research Compliance to present workshops for faculty members and graduate students entitled Electronic Research Tools each fall and spring semester.
If you need guidance in creating a tailored research agenda or wish to learn more about grantsmanship, contact
Stanley Geidel, SPO program manager.
