Student Rights and Community Standards GA
The
Office of Student Rights and Community Standards has two assistantships available. The graduate assistants are responsible for assisting the director in all aspects of the disciplinary processes of the university including: one-on-one adjudication with students accused of violations of university policy, participation in administrative hearings and in formal University Review Boards. The GAs also assists the director in providing services to students living off campus (including traditional commuters, off-campus upperclassmen and non-traditional students). This includes publishing a monthly electronic newsletter and management of a dedicated Web site for off campus students. GA's also assist in several other functions of the office, including absence notification, administration of the emergency aid fund application process, and educational outreach activities.
