Job Description: This position is a great resume builder! You'll work as an extension of the administrative staff to serve the needs of student and non-student building users. Will work in all areas of the building to provide complete and professional service. on evenings and weekends, this position has responsibility for building operations. Room set ups and tear downs are part of this job description. This position is primarily for weekend hours but candidates are desired who will make a commitment for the following academic year.

Job Title: Hotel Night Auditor

Job Description: Position includes performing night audit responsibilities. Applicant must have computer experience. Will take phone and in-person reservations, answer switchboard, check guests in and out, operate cash register, and prepare guests' bills. Must be able to stay awake all night. Job Description:  General knowledge of campus procedures and services needed. Duties include giving accurate information; recording, storing and releasing lost/found items; learning basic front desk procedures; and performing other duties as assigned. Job Title: Student Center Hotel Desk Clerk

Job Description: The desk clerk is responsible for the handling of the front desk of the Student Center Hotel and may be the university guest first contact. Student will accept reservations, register hotel guests and check them in and out, operate switchboard, operate cash register, provide general information, and perform other duties as assigned. Must also apply for Jobs #127 and #982 to be considered for these positions.

Required Qualifications: Good customer service skills and the ability to work with little or no supervisions, dress appropriately for a business atmosphere.

Preferred Qualifications: Prefer someone with experience in the hospitality field and who has the ability to handle difficult situations.

Job Title: Late Nite Event Staff

Job Description: Will primarily assist with the set up, implementation, and tear-down of Late Nite at Ball State events. As a staff member, duties include handling money, working registration, overseeing the proper set-up and tear-down of equipment, working with volunteers, and other duties as assigned. Attention to detail is a MUST! Student needed to provide outstanding customer service to students and guests. Must be familiar with University policies and willing to confront and report violations. 

Required Qualifications: Dependable and able to remain alert during events and late shifts. Job Description: Student will be a working supervisor that facilitates training of the center staff. They will perform all duties and responsibilities of the staff and duties assigned by the manager.

Duties include: assist in evaluating student applications and interviewing prospective desk staff; conduct training for new staff and answer questions from staff anytime of the week; assist in evaluation of staff performance; develop staff schedules; assist with reservations for the Rec. Center; maintain appropriate inventory level of supplies; receive and return phone messages to schedule and coordinate reservations for customers; and keep various reports updated and organized.

Required Qualifications: Previous experience working in the Student Center Recreation Facility. Good academic standing; customer service experience; basic knowledge of computer; ability to address all aspects of facility management.
