The Office of
Student Rights and Community Standards, in service to commuters, non-traditional students, and other students residing off-campus, has as its mission:
- To assist students in preparing them for off-campus residence;
- To serve as a point of contact for off-campus students, in their relationship with the university and the community;
- To share information about campus and community resources available to off-campus student populations;
- To facilitate, publicize and encourage events that highlight resources for off-campus living, promote civic responsibility; and foster a sense of community; and
- To promote individual growth and development among off-campus students.
