Ball State publishes crime statistics annually in accordance with the Student Right-to-Know and Campus Security Act of 1990, which requires all postsecondary institutions participating in federal student aid programs to disclose campus security policies and certain crime statistics.
Statistics are published annually on our site. In addition, crime statistics are sent monthly to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
The report shows figures for
crimes committed on campus, in or around
non-campus buildings, and
on public property.
