Interactive Design & Development
The design and development teams work together to implement interactive media and generate original software projects. Together, the teams produce a variety of project types, from stand-alone computer programs to data-driven Web applications. Design capabilities include: graphic design, interactive design, DVD labels, and corporate identities, posters.

The Cardinal Scholar digital archive promotes open scholarly communication, while preserving access to scholarly work produced at Ball State University.

Video Services An experienced team headed by a producer will work with you to create materials to meet your specific needs. Recording video sequences in the studio or on location, creating animations to illustrate subject matter, editing, adding effects and music to video, coping the finished video to the format you require.

Printing and Laminating Service The GIS Research and Map Collection has one black and white laser printer for small print jobs and two large-format color plotters for large print jobs; a 36" HP1055cm Plus and a 42" HP4500ps. .

Digital Equipment You can check out Camcorders, digital cameras, webcams, data projectors, and more are available for short-term loans.

Digital Media Repository Find unique interdisciplinary materials for your research or class projects.

Group Study Rooms and Viewing Booths—You can reserve rooms in Bracken Library for collaborative group projects, brainstorming sessions, general study, and media viewing. Our rooms can accommodate from 4 to 18 people.

Library Instructional Services—Learn how to use the University Libraries resources effectively through personal training and orientation workshops.

TechTime  (for students only)—TechTime allows you to learn from fellow students in a relaxed setting. Following the experts, you can learn how software your software, add memory to your computer, or make simple repairs your personal computer. With a little help, navigating technology will become second nature. Make an appointment online, and then go to Bracken Library, BL101 to meet with your TechTime expert.

Thesis Research— Workshops are tailored to graduate students beginning thesis research. You will learn about print and electronic resources available in the library that will help you with your research.

The new training team provides media and software training on dual-boot Mac/PC computers. We offer a wide variety of training and certification options for students and employees. No-fee, noncredit workshops, for-credit courses, or personalized support is available to help you learn new software applications, earn certifications, or just brush up on your skills.
