unique Avoid misuse. If something is unique, there is nothing else like it. There are no degrees
of uniqueness, so it would be wrong to say something is very unique. Use special or distinct for
something that is unusual but not one of a kind.

university Lowercase university except when preceded by Ball State.
Ex: The university is located in Muncie or Ball State University is located in Muncie.
Always use on first reference when referring to other schools.
Ex.: Purdue University then Purdue on second reference.

University Libraries Name for the network of Ball State libraries and resource centers. There
are three: Architecture Library, Bracken Library, and Health Science Library.
