The Desktop Support group is a team of professional IT Support Technologists who provide information technology support for the faculty and staff of Ball State University.
Primary IT Support Technologists duties are troubleshooting and resolving software, hardware, and network issues that affect Ball State desktop and laptop computers. Other duties include advising customers in making technology purchases, promoting technology awareness and training, and facilitating the resolution of technology problems through cooperation with other Information Technology departments.
To request assistance from an IT Support Technologist, University employees are encouraged to visit www.bsu.edu/helpdesk to submit a ticket, stop by the Tech Center located in Bracken Library, room 101, or call the Technology HelpDesk at 765-285-1517.
