Ball State enrolls about 22,000 students, with more than 18,000 attending on campus. Students come from 48 states, two U.S. territories, about 56 countries, and every Indiana county. Out-of-state students make up about 13 percent of on-campus enrollment, and ethnic minorities comprise about 11 percent. The university enrolls more than 620 international students.
