Undertaking the renewal of our core administrative systems and business processes is not a task we proposed lightly. It is a university-wide effort, one that each of the vice presidents is committed to support. To help ensure its success, we developed a facilitated process that we believe to be rigorous, transparent, and thorough, a process that enables us to learn from the experience of other institutions and to plan appropriately for the considerable resources, both human and financial, that such an effort requires.
As we make progress, we will continue to communicate with the campus on the issues we face and the decisions we will be making. We understand clearly that this is a daunting project that will require the support and efforts of many within the Ball State community. As an Executive Committee, we are committed to making this another Ball State success story.
