Ball State is a traditional university that does things in a nontraditional way. We see education as a way for students to find their niche in the world. And we provide them with the
dedicated professors, top-ranked programs, and
state-of-the-art facilities they need to carve theirs out.
Our People
Our professors work closely with students to achieve success. In fact, these top scholars love teaching so much that they reach their goals when students reach theirs. Ball State’s faculty and students come from all over Indiana, the United States, and the world.
Our Programs
Quantity and quality is the best way to describe Ball State’s programs. We have about 180 undergraduate and preprofessional programs, as well as more than 100 master’s and doctoral programs. Many of them are consistently recognized nationally, such as our programs in architecture, entrepreneurship, telecommunications, education, and landscape architecture.
Our Campus
The Ball State campus is full of tradition and promise for tomorrow. Classic architecture and iconic statues such as Beneficence and Frog Baby are symbols of Ball State’s many years of excellence. And our state-of-the-art facilities and recognition by Intel as the nation’s top wireless campus represent our focus on the future.
Our Success
The best way to measure our success is by yours. All of our awards, rankings, and recognitions represent the Ball State students and professors who push the educational envelope. But if you really want to gauge our success, take a look at our more than 146,000 thriving alumni out in the professional world.
