The Applied Archaeology Laboratories (AAL) was organized in 1978 to carry out a program of cultural resource management and has since grown to include academic research activities, public education, and student involvement. As part of Ball State’s Department of Anthropology and one of 15 designated knowledge units at the university, we are an educational and professional resource center.
