Voting System Technical Oversight Program

This project is directed by Dr. Ray Scheele, along with Dr. Jay Bagga from Ball State’s Department of Computer Science. A three-year project, the Bowen Center is advising the Indiana secretary of state and the Indiana Election Commission on the certification of voting machines in Indiana. The project also entails the creation of a database containing all voting machines used in Indiana as well as a report on the best practices of poll worker training.
