How have these Community Conversations helped individual communities?

Over the past three years, 16 Indiana regions have been selected to participate in Community Conversations aimed at helping the community build on its strengths and address its challenges. Follow-up sessions have produced events and plans which have resulted in additional conversations as well as specific plans to face the challenges presented –such as a community-wide clean-up in Orange County, and action team in Greensburg, and a launch of the Horizon 2.0 project in Elkhart. What happens in an individual community or region depends the objectives sought by the planning committee and the participants as well as the subsequent leadership commitment by participants.
